Welcome to Life Music and Chester Music Academy.

Formerly Chester Guitar School, we now provide electric guitar lessons, acoustic guitar lessons, singing and vocal lessons, drum lessons and piano lessons for all ages and abilities for students in Chester and Cheshire. Our centre is an opproved OCN centre, meaning our standards and procedures are checked and regulated, and that we can also provide accredited courses.

We offer a range of exams and qualifications for those who want to take music study more seriously. While a lot of people want to learn musical instruments just for fun, others look towards gaining qualifications for a variety of reasons, and we can help people to achieve them.

We are an accredited centre for the Open College Network (OCN) who provide exams and qualifications for many FE colleges throughout the country, at levels 1 to 3 (ie GCSE to A level / BTEC standard.) For more information about what course would suit you and your needs, please contact us, and we will do our best to help you.

In addition to OCN courses, we also provide exam grades, provided by Rockschool, in electric guitar, singing, drums and keyboard. These are available up to grade 8. More information on these can be found on the Rockschool website.
